Proper Attitude, Psalm 100

This post concerns our attitude toward God.

Proper Attitude discusses how we need to feel each day and especially in worship services, Psalm 100. “Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the LORD, he… who made us, and we… his; we… his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the LORD…good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”

Firstly, this psalm encompasses all the earth. Not only did God make the human body and endow it with life, but He also made everything in this universe. This calls for an attitude of praise and worship.

Therefore, we need to serve Him gladly, especially in lieu of the blessings of life, health, and a future home in heaven with Him. We can show our happiness to the world due to His blessings.

So, our praise and worship should cause us to sing His praises. Once we study His attributes from the pages of His book, we will understand that we belong to Him, like sheep to a shepherd. Thanksgiving should burst out from our lips as we praise Him and bless His name.

We can summarize by saying that good makes up His name. This goodness will endure forever, because He shows faithfulness to each generation as the generations come and go.

Thus, let us read and think about this psalm regularly and enhance our worship of the creative God of this universe.

So, what did we learn?

1.Our good God deserves praise and devotion.

2.Realizing all these attributes about God should cause us to gladly worship Him daily all of our lives.
