What did Jesus mean “in your name” as He gave account of His stewardship?

John 17:11-16 The disciples would be left in the world apart from Jesus’ care because He was going to the Father. Jesus prayed that they would be kept “in your name,” or ‘by Your power’—see Psalms 20:1 and 54:1 and Prov. 18:10 for similar language. By His power Jesus had kept His disciples safe from the world, except for Judas (see Psalms 41:9 as applied by Jesus in John 13:18) who by his own free will betrayed Him.
