What BIG THING did Philip want to see? John 14:8-11

Philip, like Moses, wanted to see what God looked like. He did not understand that God had decided to reveal the only visable image of Himself in His Son. Jesus said ‘whoever has seen Me has seen the Father,’ v. 9. Proof that Jesus was ‘in the Father’ and ‘the Father in Me,’ were Jesus’ words and works. Today, we understand by studying the Bible that the only image God has chosen to reveal of himself is Jesus, his son.
