The Source of the Universe, Genesis 1:1

This post concerns the use of logic to determine the source of the universe.

‘The Source of the Universe’ describes the necessary logical origin of this world.

Many current theories exist on how the universe came into existence. All of them involve atoms, electrons, and nuclei somehow causing the world in which we live.

However, none of these theories explain where the solid matter of this world came from. Each uses existing atoms, electrons, and nuclei to derive today’s universe. None can explain the source of this solid matter.

So, logically, this solid matter must have come about by some superior power and intellect greatly above and not part of this universe who caused the creation of this solid matter from nothing.

Therefore, this fits Genesis 1:1. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

Thus, this verse shows logically how it all happened. God, who has unlimited power and unlimited knowledge, caused creation of the solid matter of this world to occur from nothing. In this way, God logically shows His power above anything on the earth or above it.

So, God could do what no man can do. He could bring into existence all this matter from nothing. This creative action logically shows the power and knowledge of this being outside of the universe.

Today, let us believe that God created the heavens and the earth from nothing.

So, what did we learn?

1.Theories by people always start with solid material such as atoms, electrons, nuclei, etc.

2.These theories have no way to explain the source of the solid materials needed as starting materials in their ideas about the source of the universe.

3.A force outside this universe, God, must have created solid matter from nothing.

4.Man has no way to bring solid matter into existence from nothing.
