What NEW future things would happen to the apostles? John 16:16-24

They would experience a low of sorrow—Jesus would die on the cross—followed by a high of happiness—Jesus would be resurrected. It would be like a woman giving birth—anguish before—but such happiness afterwards that she forgets the anguish. Then, the apostles would have a new avenue of prayer. Unlike before when they could ask Jesus directly, they would now petition God for favors in Jesus’ name, a new way to pray.
