What ADDED COMFORT did Jesus provide to His disciples? John 14:25-31

When Jesus announced to His apostles His departure back to His Father, He explained more about the work of the Holy Spirit, the Helper, who would teach them as well as help them remember what He had taught them. Jesus also said he would leave them His peace. He said all this so they would know what was going to happen and  would find comfort in that he had prophesied it beforehand. This peace is a comfort to Christians today.
