What was UNIQUE about Jesus’ relationship with the Father? John 12:44-50

Jesus made it clear that He was not an independent agent on this earth. What he said was what the Father had told him to say, v. 49-50. To see Jesus was to see the Father, v. 45. This means that through Jesus’ words, humans can gain a view of the Father, the only view available to us on this earth. For example, Jesus’ death on the cross shows the love and mercy of the Father for mankind.
