Older people worshipping year after year in the same building may drift into just sitting in a pew, mouthing songs without thinking, bowing but not listening to prayer, and daydreaming during the sermon. Such ought not be. Psalms 63:1-3 teaches that the correct worship of God involves seeking and thirsting after and praising God. In worship, one should be mentally involved and use the mind to realize the power and glory of God.
