The Bible and OLD AGE #31 … I HATE REPUBLICANS! (DEMOCRATS!)    Sometimes long political affiliations evolve into near hate for us old folks. However, Jesus teaches otherwise. In Luke 6:27-28 we are taught to love our enemies. John says a Christians can’t have hate in their lives in two passages, 1 John 2:9-11; 4:19-20. He deals with the results of hate by referring to Cain, 1 John 3:15, as a murderer. John says that all hatred should be put out of our lives, and we should kind and forgiving to each other.
