Essential Beliefs in Christianity: Jesus Ascended- Acts 1:9-11

Christians believe that Jesus was crucified and arose from the grave. Many were crucified, but no one arose on the third day, except Jesus, 1 Cor. 15:4. A third vital belief for Christians is that Jesus ascended back to the Father, Mk. 16:19; Lk. 24:50-51, where He now serves as the mediator of our prayers, Rom. 8:34; Heb. 7:25; 9:24. Jesus was active while on this earth and continues a vital activity in heaven for us.
